The high BTU gas that entered PG&E California Gas Transmission's pipeline during the last week of September has cleared CGT's system and current values have returned to normal.

High BTU gas that entered PG&E California Gas Transmission's pipeline the last week of September has returned to normal at Malin.

The higher-than-normal BTU gas was the result of the Cochrane Stripping Plant maintenance outage upstream of Malin. The plant was placed back in service and delivery of normal level BTU gas to CGT began on October 2, 2010.

The speed at which the BTU gas will return to normal throughout CGT's system is dependent on the system demand pattern experienced by the local transmission and distribution system for each area. CGT estimates that high BTU level gas in our system will return to normal by the end of this week.
