Starting with the Timely nomination cycle for gas day Wednesday, June 23rd, California Gas Transmission (CGT) will be adding an additional capacity constraint point in its INSIDEtracc nomination system. This new capacity constraint point coincides with the Kettleman Compressor Station on the Baja Path. Capacity levels at this location will be entered into INSIDEtracc by our Gas Schedulers and will help CGT to more efficiently and accurately schedule volumes on the Baja Path.
For your use, to better understand the flows and capacity constraints on the Baja Path, we have created a new map . The map indicates the receipt/delivery points flowing north-to-south and south-to-north, and the nomination receipt and delivery pairs that may be affected by the Hinkley and/or Kettleman capacity constraint locations. Please feel free to print this out and utilize it in conversations with CGT's Sales or Service Representatives, or Gas Schedulers.
Any capacity limitation at the Kettleman capacity constraint point will be reflected on the Pipeline Maintenance page, as it is today, via notes in the "Maintenance Notes" column on the right hand side. The use of this capacity location will be completely transparent to customers nominating on CGT's system, as no reports or cut codes will be changed.
