Pacific Gas and Electric Company's California Gas Transmission is pleased to announce its binding open season May 15 through June 8, 2009, for two tranches of annual firm transportation service. CGT has identified expansion projects that may be implemented based on customer interest, including a new Arvin receipt point located near the Kern River Station Interconnect.
This open season provides a new opportunity to hold annual firm transportation rights on the Baja Path. Annual firm transmission capacity on the Baja Path has been sold out through December 2013; however, "Our customers have expressed interest in additional Baja capacity and we are ready to serve them via this open season," said Roger Graham, Manager, Wholesale Marketing and Business Development at PG&E. The new capacity being offered is shown in the table below.

To participate, interested parties must establish credit and complete a Request for Firm Transmission Service on or before June 8, 2009. CGT encourages customers to review the open season information available on the Pipe Ranger Web site. Additionally, CGT representatives listed below are available to assist customers with the process for obtaining capacity in the open season.
