Never mind what Hamlet asked; Am I in compliance? That is the question! PG&E's California Gas Transmission is pleased to offer a tool to help its customers determine their compliance with an Operational Flow Order (OFO). Some balancing agents may run these compliance calculations manually during an OFO, but this newly-created tool provides a convenient, structured method of performing these calculations using Microsoft Excel.
The tool opens to the NBAA OFO compliance page; however, the California Production Balancing Agent (CPBA), Core Transport Agent (CTA) and Natural Gas Service Agreement (End-use Customers) calculation pages may be selected using the identified buttons located near the bottom.
The tool allows the user to enter everything needed for a complete OFO scenario: the type of OFO, the noncompliance charge, CGT's tolerance band and the user's gas supply and usage. It will then determine if the data entered results in compliance with the OFO scenario. If the result is noncompliant, a pop-up window will provide the maximum or minimum supply required to meet the OFO criteria entered. It doesn't get much easier than that!
This new OFO compliance tool is located on the OFO/EFO/Diversion section of Pipe Ranger. We hope you find our new tool useful and we welcome your feedback. Please contact your CGT Account Services Representative with any questions or suggestions you may have.
