Recent Baja Path Reductions

Tuesday, September 02, 2008

California Gas Transmission made some Baja Path reductions over this past weekend. Market conditions over the Labor Day weekend resulted in low off-system deliveries and a sustained strong preference to transport gas on the Baja Path. These conditions contributed to a high southern-system inventory (Baja Path) for gas days August 31 and September 1, 2008. This has produced high discharge pressures at each of our southern system compressor stations. High compressor discharge pressure can result in a reduction of throughput on the Baja Path.

Baja Path maintenance previously posted on Pipe Ranger has reduced pipeline capacity for September 2-4, 2008.
