High BTU gas that entered Pacific Gas and Electric Company's pipeline the first week of June has continued through the system, and BTU levels have returned to normal.
The higher-than-normal BTU gas was the result of an upstream plant maintenance outage. The plant was placed back in service and delivery of normal level BTU gas to PG&E began on June 17, 2008. The normal level BTU gas migrated through to the local transmission and distribution systems, and all areas have now returned to normal BTU levels.
