Sneak Peek at Upcoming INSIDEtracc Changes

Friday, November 16, 2007

As the seasons change, PG&E's California Gas Transmission has been busy scoping out the next set of changes to its nomination system, INSIDEtracc. As part of our continuing system modifications started last year, and based on customer feedback, the following upgrades are in the works.

TSAs on the Fly

NEW - A TSA will no longer require setup prior to entering a nomination. Simply check the box labeled "New TSA." The TSA and Receipt Point/Delivery Point will be saved in INSIDEtracc and assigned to the corresponding Pipeline. No Agent assignments are necessary. Customers will be in complete control of how that TSA is used.

Match on Submit

NEW - Within nomination screens, nominations will no longer disappear from the screen once the Submit button is clicked. Instead, nominations will continue to be displayed with the status of "Valid" or "Invalid" and a new indicator will be added designating if each nomination has been entered and matched by the confirming party.

Pool Balancing

NEW - This function will now be valid for all cycles after nominations have been submitted. Any changes to a nomination (increase or decrease) will be reflected on this screen.

RETURNING - The Nomination by Entity screen is coming back, and can be accessed through Pool Balancing or from the main navigation.

Nomination Entry Screens

NEW - The Import and Manual Input screens will be combined into one screen.

Thank you for your feedback. CGT values our business relationships and is always open to hearing the valuable feedback our customers share with us.

Watch for these changes in late 2008 as we continue to make our system even better for our customers.
