At a recent CGT meeting, presentations were delivered around greenhouse gas legislation and its impact on the natural gas industry. PG&E Director of Environmental Policy, Wendy Pulling was on hand to discuss PG&E climate change efforts and Ray Williams, Director of Long-Term Energy Policy, covered an introduction to California’s “Global Warming Solutions Act”.
Guest speakers also included Josh Margolis, CEO at CantorCO2e and Terry Boss, .Senior Vice President of Environment, Safety and Operations from the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA).
Josh Margolis shared his perspective on the carbon market and Terry Boss spoke on the Natural Gas Council comprehensive study analyzing S. 280, the Climate Stewardship and Innovation Act of 2007. The Press Release and a link to the NGC study can be found on the INGAA website www.INGAA.org .
