CGT BTU Levels Returning to Normal

In a previous article, California Gas Transmission announced higher-than-normal BTU levels coming into the PG&E system. Saturday marks the return to normal BTU levels of approximately 1,020 BTU/cf.

The speed at which the normal BTU level gas will migrate through the system is dependent on the system demand pattern being experienced by the local transmission and distribution system. The entire pipeline system BTU levels should return to normal within seven to 13 days.
