Keep It Flowing in '03

Thursday, November 14, 2002

With the end of the year approaching, many California Gas Transmission exhibits are also approaching the end of their terms. Now is the time to contact your CGT Sales Representative to discuss which exhibits your company would like to extend into 2003.

While the CGT Extension and Open Season provided an opportunity to secure firm services for 2003, most CGT customers also use a variety of as-available and other services that will need new exhibits on January 1, 2003.

Please examine your CGT portfolio now and take the following actions no later than December 20, 2002.

As-Available Exhibits

All as-available transportation exhibits will expire December 31, 2002. Many customers hold standard as-available (G-AA) exhibits on paths they frequently use. Please phone your Sales Representative to discuss the quantity of as-available transportation you would like to retain in 2003. Although as-available services only cost money when you flow gas, these services do require credit. This is a good opportunity to review your credit limits and the volume of as-available services you would like to hold in the new year.

Firm Services

Your Sales Representative is now available to discuss capacity available in 2003 and your unique transportation or storage needs.

Nomination Authorization Forms

All current Nomination Authorization forms will expire on December 31, 2002. You must execute a new Nomination Authorization form if you would like another party to nominate gas on any of your 2003 transportation or storage exhibits. A new authorization form is required even if the exhibits in question were awarded in the Extension and Open Season.

On November 18, 2002, CGT will mail Nomination Authorization renewal letters to all customers who hold Extension and Open Season capacity and currently have Nomination Authorizations in place. If you wish such authorizations to continue into 2003, please complete, execute and return to CGT either this letter or a Nomination Authorization form by December 20, 2002.

Avoid the Last Minute Rush

Nearly every CGT customer will need to take some action before the end of the year. Avoid the last minute rush and possible complications with New Year's Day nominations. Please phone a CGT Sales Representative before December 20, 2002, to ensure your 2003 CGT exhibits are in order.
