This Frequently Asked Questions article gives complete details on Customer-Specific OFO (CS-OFO) notification procedures. The article has been updated to reflect the addition of Text Message notification to CGT's Customer-Specific OFO notification process.
When announcing a CS-OFO Initial Notice, Pacific Gas and Electric Company will send all registered customers a Text Message stating:
PG&E CS-OFO for mm/dd/yy.
When announcing a CS-OFO Final Notice, Pacific Gas and Electric Company will send all registered customers a Text Message stating:
Info on CS-OFO for mm/dd/yy is posted to INSIDEtracc.
INSIDEtracc is the primary method of OFO notification. Text Message notification is a secondary method Pacific Gas and Electric Company uses to simultaneously send a text message with OFO information to all registered customers. CGT customers may sign up online for this service.
Text Message notifications announce a Customer-Specific OFO with "CS-OFO." A Text Message using "SW-OFO" indicates a System-Wide OFO.
As always, your CGT Account Services Representative is available to answer any questions you may have.
