High Performance Dual-Paned Windows
Information Only

PG&E no longer offers a rebate for this product for single family homes. We still encourage energy-efficient windows as a retrofit product, which are now widely available in the market. We hope you find the following information useful in making a decision when purchasing energy-efficient windows.
When shopping for windows, look for units with a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient of 0.32 or less and a U-Factor of 0.35 or less. These figures are indicated on the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC)* label affixed to each window or on the manufacturer's order confirmation sheet (available from your contractor). High performance windows can help you reduce energy costs, condensation and color fading due to sunlight, and increase the comfort in your home.
Use our Window Square Footage Calculator to determine the total area of windows needed.
For any questions, please call the Smarter Energy Line at 1-800-933-9555.
