Updating your online account profile or alerts
Make sure PG&E has the right information
An up-to-date profile ensures you’ll get the information you need regarding your account, billing and energy use.
How to edit your profile and alerts
Sign into Your Account and select the “Edit Profile & Alerts” button. This will take you to the PG&E Preference Center, where you can edit your profile.
Account information you can change online
- Mailing address
- Email address
- Account password
- Phone number
- Language preference
- Alert and notification options
- Security questions
- Organization of accounts and services
Account information you can’t change online
To ensure your information remains secure, the following information must be updated by phone:
- Business name
- Owner name
- Social Security Number
- Taxpayer Identification Number
To make your updates, call the PG&E Business Customer Support Center at 1-800-468-4743.
