How to become an approved program vendor

PG&E holds Requests for Qualification (RFQs) quarterly to establish a growing list of approved vendors for the EV Charge Owner ownership option. Download our Contract Opportunity Announcement (PDF, 445 KB).


The steps to become an approved vendor are below.

Interested in becoming a vendor?

STEP 1Express your interest

  • Submit a request to EVChargeNetwork@pge.com to indicate your interest in becoming an approved vendor. Include your company’s name, the names of your hardware and software suppliers, and a single point of contact from your organization.

STEP 2Register with PowerAdvocate

  • You will receive an email to register with PowerAdvocate, our online procurement platform.
  • Once registered, you will receive notification regarding upcoming RFQ opportunities via email from PowerAdvocate.
  • Details of the opportunity including timing, technical requirements, documentation, and relevant standards will be available through PowerAdvocate.

STEP 3Complete procurement process

  • Submit your charging solution proposals via PowerAdvocate. If you meet all RFQ requirements, you will be listed as an approved vendor for the EV Charge Owner ownership option.
  • Your company, qualified models, costs, and other basic information on your equipment and services will appear on PG&E’s website.
