Explore energy-saving ideas in the Business Resource Center
Attention trade professionals
This summer, PG&E plans to kick-off a lighting-focused marketing campaign for business customers called "Year of the LED". We're excited to share some of the marketing strategies and tactics PG&E has planned so you can capitalize on the increased customer awareness and utilize these efforts to your advantage.
Overview
Small, medium and large business customers will be targeted across PG&E's territory. The goal is to educate and engage customers on LED lighting benefits, performance and savings opportunities through multiple touches across different mediums. The campaign will kick off in July and extend through the early fall.
Strategy and tactics
We are communicating to commercial customers in a multi-touch approach including emails, social media, display advertising, updated PG&E website content, and more. A new 360⁰ video experience will be the primary asset used to make customers aware of LED benefits specific to their type of business. As awareness increases the message will drive customers to engage with PG&E trusted advisors such as the Trade Professionals. Additionally, you can download the PG&E LED Virtual Reality (VR) app on your smart phone or tablet to enhance your sales presentations to customers. Simply search for "PG&E LED VR" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, download and then choose the 360 standard viewing experience.
