Welcome to PG&E's Fresno Division
Welcome to PG&E’s Fresno Division, which extends from the foothills of the Coast Range in the west, down across the San Joaquin Valley, and back up into the Sierra Nevada mountains. With more than 500,000 residents, the city of Fresno is the 5th largest city in the state. The name Fresno is the Spanish language word for the ash tree, and an ash leaf is featured on the city's flag. Fresno's economy is primarily made up of agriculture but also includes several oil fields, the U.S. Navy at the Lemoore Naval Air Station and part of the state penitentiary system. Fresno County is the most productive agricultural county in the entire United States.
