To create safe and vibrant neighborhoods for our customers and employees, PG&E’s economic and community vitality programs help communities prepare for and recover from natural disasters, create career training opportunities, support local businesses and provide energy assistance for low-income families.
PG&E’s Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help (REACH) program provides one-time emergency financial assistance to pay for uninterrupted energy service for customers facing financial hardship. Learn more how the REACH program helps thousands of families a year to keep the lights on. Visit Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help.
PG&E partners with the American Red Cross to provide safety training and direct resources to undeserved communities before and after natural disasters.
PG&E and the Boys & Girls Clubs’ Summer Jobs Program has provided nearly 1,000 youth with career training and placed more than 250 students in part-time jobs in their local communities since 2012.
Through our Economic Vitality Grant Program, PG&E invests $250,000 a year in local programs supporting workforce development and job creation.
