On the PG&E Electric Outage Map, you can report an outage, view current outages, and even sign up for updates about a specific outage. The map is updated every 15 minutes with any new information.

PLEASE NOTE: To find or report a gas outage, go to the PG&E gas outages and safety page.



Report an outage

Report an outage by entering your address in the "Enter Address" box highlighted below.

If we're aware of your outage, you‘ll see one of the following icons displayed on the map. The color and shape of the icons provide details about the size and area of the outage.

If you don’t see your outage on the map, click on the “Report an Outage” button to report it. You just answer a few simple questions and you’re done. You don’t even need to sign in to your account.

When you report an outage, you can also request to receive updates by text or phone call on the outage reported.


Find an outage

There are three ways to search for an outage:

  • Enter your address in the "Enter Address" box
  • Select the "View Outages by City" button and choose your city from the drop-down box
  • Pan around the map

Once you have found your outage, click on the outage icon to get the details.

If you'd like to get updates about a specific outage, go to the Electric Outage Details box and select "Receive Updates." Let us know:


  • How you'd like to be contacted: text, email or phone call
  • Where and when to reach you

Then click "Submit" and we’ll send you updates as new information becomes available.
