PG&E’s new Community Wildfire Safety Program is our response to years of drought, extreme heat and 129 million dead trees that have created a "new normal" for our state, and we must continue to adapt to meet these challenges.
Following the 2017 wildfires, we’re teaming with first responders, civic and community leaders and customers to implement additional precautionary measures. These measures are intended to reduce the risk of wildfire threats and improve safety in advance of the start of wildfire season in Northern and Central California.
PG&E's Energy Centers provide professional training, a robust tool-lending library, on-demand courses and real-time access to industry experts, all at no cost.
