Debris or wood on the ground is not handled through Report It.

To keep you safe, we trim and cut down trees that are too close to powerlines to prevent power outages and wildfires.

Typically, within one week of completing our work, we:

    • Haul away debris or branches less than 4 inches thick, or
    • We cut them into small pieces and spread onsite, according to forestry best practices.

Note: Debris cleanup is not usually provided during our storm or other emergency response work.

    For questions, call 1-800-743-5000.

    Make separate reports

Don't combine multiple issues. Create a new report for each.

    • You must send one picture from far away that shows the whole thing and one close-up picture showing the damage.
    • If you want, you can also send a picture of the PG&E tag and another picture showing the damage from a different side. This helps the team see the damage better.

    Take your own pictures

Do not use pictures from Google Earth, Google Maps, or pictures of other pictures. Only use original photos from the place you are reporting.

Do not use “live” or “motion” photos
