We are dedicated to building safer and more resilient communities. Through our charitable giving program, we
- Address critical social, educational and environmental challenges;
- Support people, the planet and California's prosperity; and
- Work to ensure a safe and inclusive future for all Californians.
The 2023 grant cycle is now closed. Organizations seeking funding are encouraged to check back in March of 2024 with requests for next year’s cycle. You can also reach out to a local contact in your community. If you do not already have a contact, please email the PG&E Community Relations team.

- Our Coworkers: Giving back to the community
Our charitable giving provides grants in four focus areas: Economic & Community Vitality, Education, Emergency Preparedness & Safety and Environment. We also support employee engagement by making matching gifts towards donations made by our PG&E coworkers.
This is how funds were allocated in 2022:
Our coworkers at PG&E are committed to supporting the communities where we live and work.
Campaign for the Community
Campaign for the Community also matches those donations—up to $1,000 per person for individual donations and up to $5,000 for coworker-initiated fundraisers.
We’re proud of the 20-year history of the workplace charitable giving campaign. The value it provides to our coworkers and the organizations is huge. As of 2022, coworkers and retirees have contributed more than $100 million dollars in support to our communities.
