2011 PG&E CCCSIP Earthquake Recordings

The SEGY files for Zland recordings of 19 earthquakes listed in
2011_NCSN_catalog_locations_for_Zland_recordings_XYft.csv 
are contained in the eqsegy directory.

The data for each earthquake is contained in subdirectories of 
the eqsegy directory. Data is output in terms of the recording
line numbers to keep each SEGY file size reasonable. There is
a kml in earthquake subdirectory that shows the epicenter and
live Zland nodes that recorded that earthquake in GoogleEarth.
Click on the line numbers in the GoogleEarth panel on the left
to turn Zland lines on and off to identify specific lines.

The SEGY files are in IEEE floating-point format, the same format
as the original Zland data (in SEGD format). The SEGY coordinates are
NAD83 State Plane Zone 5 ft. Divide the x-y coordinates by 10 and
the elevations by 10000 to obtain the x,y,z positions of the Zland
nodes and the NCSN hypocenter location.

There are csv files with both NAD83 lat-lon and State Plane Zone 5
feet coordinates for the Zland receivers and NCSN earthquake locations.

I included 30 seconds before the origin time to capture a pre-event
noise window. I actually have 4 minute windows, but they don't fit
in SEGY due to the 2-byte integer used in SEGY for the number of 
samples.

The Zland instrument response information is contained in the files in
Nodal_zland_instrument_response.zip

The file final_merged_cccsip_2011_onshore_3d_tomoplus_hardebeck_vp.zip
contains a 3D SEGY P-wave velocity file in IEEE floating-point format with
coordinates in NAD83 State Plane Zone 5 feet that merges the GeoTomo
TomoPlus 3d P-wave velocity model from a tomographic inversion of 
>5,500,000 Vibroseis and AWD first breaks with the 3D velocity-hypocenter
inversion model from Hardebeck (2010) (this reference and supplementary
files are contained in hardebeck2010bssa_all_files.zip).

The image file line_102_event_7_display_white_purple.png contains an example
of a line earthquake-gather for line 102 along the main access road to DCPP
displayed using kogeo, a free SEGY viewer. If you use kogeo you need to tell
it that you are loading 2D data in IEEE floating point format.

I've also include several free Windows SEGY viewers in the eqsegy directory
SegYDetective.exe is a small header viewer that also displays a single trace
                  at a time. It doesn't load the whole file at once so it
                  works on large files to get header info.
SeiSee is a SEGY viewer. I've included two versions since the latest version 
       does not seem to display filtered data. SeiSee_2_16_1.exe is an older
       version that does display filtered data. Seisei also works on linux
       running under wine.

The file events_2_20_Zland_stations_and_epicenter_kmls_w_faults_wells_zland_station_kmlzs.zip
has all the kml/kmz files together if you want them all in a single location.
