PG&E recognizes that public schools are facing hard economic times. That’s why we have expanded our Solar Schools Programs to give teachers and schools the financial support and resources they need to save money, energy and the environment.

 | Training for Teachers PG&E offers a free one-day training course for teachers to learn about renewable energy sources. Each teacher who attends will learn how to implement innovative energy units in their classroom and receive hands-on kits and curriculum valued at $800. |
 | Bright Ideas Grants In 2010, PG&E will be awarding more than $250,000 in grants to green school campuses and provide unique environmental learning opportunities for students. These grants are designed to tap into the expertise and commitment of our teachers and to foster environmental stewardship in our future leaders. |
