Procurement Review Group

The PRG meetings are not open to the public and are only open to members of the PRG.

In Decision 07-12-05 2, the California Public Utilities Commission instructed the California Investor Owned Utilities (IOUs) to establish web-based calendars that provide information on Procurement Review Group (PRG) meetings and planned solicitation activities. The attached calendar contains PG&E's upcoming PRG meeting dates, times, and topics, to the extent that they have been scheduled. For PG&E’s previous 2008 PRG meetings, the calendar links into specific meeting agendas and participants. This calendar will contain only public information.

Standard Contracts for Purchase (Feed-in Tariffs)

On February 14, 2008, the Commission approved Resolution E-4137 (PDF, 215 KB) pertaining to PG&E’s tariffs and standard contracts for both its Section 399.20 PPA (Public Water and Wastewater) Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and the Small Renewable Generator PPA.

The Standard Contracts for Purchase (Feed-in Tariffs) of eligible renewable generation offer both a full buy/sell option and an excess sale option to customers, which means PG&E will purchase all of the electricity their facility generates, or they can choose to use some of the electricity for their own needs and PG&E will purchase only the excess.
