Scheduling/Nomination Change Recap

Training was held in September and October to review specific scheduling-related changes happening in INSIDEtracc. This is a quick recap of that training and the new or changed functions you will see upon implementation.

TSAs "on the Fly"

Remember, if you are using this new feature with the Import and/or Manual Input functions, please be sure to call CGT Gas Scheduling with the end dates of your newly acquired TSA.

Buyer/Seller Fields (and Revised Nomination Form)

Two new fields indicating Buyer and Seller codes will now show in your nominations screens. These fields will be auto-filled when using a pool, a Park or Lend account, or a CTARGAS for your nomination source or destination. When using a TSA, it is necessary to indicate the Buyer and Seller codes since the TSA is no longer owned by you, the customer, but by the interconnecting pipeline. When using an NGSA, it is also necessary to indicate the Buyer and Seller codes since NGSAs usually have an owner and agent.

Note: If you import your nominations, remember to download the revised Gas Transportation Nomination Form This link will open in a new window from Pipe Ranger. The revised form includes columns for the new required Buyer and Seller code information as well as columns to designate a new TSA.

100 and 110 Reports

Historical data will be available to you for gas days prior to October 21 by using the 110 Report. Historical data by cycle will be available for gas days October 21 and going forward by using the 100 or 110 Reports.

Nominations By Entity Screen

This screen can be accessed from the main navigation under Nominations or from the Pool Balancing screen, and will show nominations coming into and going out of a specific entity (for example, a pool). This screen is available to you after the confirm process has been run.

Match Indicators

With the addition of the two new Buyer and Seller fields, INSIDEtracc will process and match counter-party nominations every 7 to 10 minutes. This process will produce 3 types of match indicators in the Query/Copy Unprocessed Nominations screen.

DD Pools

DD Pools are no longer used in INSIDEtracc. Instead, the interconnecting pipeline downstream contract or TSA should be used.

LOC Indicator

The LOC indicator is enabled when the Source ID or Dest ID is found at more then one location; i.e., a nomination with a Topock Receipt Point can be at a location of either TKS or TKN.

Create TSA Screen

If you are creating a TSA through the Create TSA screen (not by using the Import or Manual Input screens), and the TSA is good for one day only, the end date must be set three days out. For example, a TSA that begins on 11/01/08 must have an end date of 11/03/08.
