E-Mail Cut Reports: Additional Clarification
Friday, September 14, 2012
On July 18, 2012, PG&E's California Gas Transmission commenced its E-Mail Cut Reports service. CGT later published an article
, providing some clarification about what information the E-Mail Cut Reports provide.
We have since had some additional questions and would like to provide further clarification. Each E-Mail Cut Report that a customer receives is cycle-specific and process-specific. That is, the cuts shown on an E-Mail Cut Report for Timely cycle, confirmed process, will be different than the cuts shown for Timely cycle, scheduled process. Likewise, the cuts shown on an E-Mail Cut Report for Evening cycle, scheduled process, will be different than those shown for ID1 cycle, scheduled process.
The receipt of an E-Mail Cut Report that shows "no cuts" for a particular cycle and process may not be an indication that "no cuts" were received for an earlier cycle and process. That is, you could receive a "no cuts" e-mail, but still have received some cut nominations in an earlier cycle and/or process.
CGT hopes this provides some additional clarification. Please contact CGT's Gas Schedulers if you have further questions.
