Have you ever wondered if there's a rhyme or reason to when data is updated on California Gas Transmission's Pipe Ranger website? CGT posts operations data five times a day. Knowing when these numbers show up can help in your daily planning.
The Plan Descriptions page details each plan and states the approximate time each plan shows up on Pipe Ranger. Here's a brief summary:

|Plan 3||Plan 2 information with updated temperatures and weather, demand forecasts, and latest available scheduled volumes||3:30 p.m.||Evening
|Plan 4||Plan 3 information with updated temperatures and weather, demand forecasts, and latest available scheduled volumes||11:00 p.m.|
|Plan 5||Last plan of the gas day, based on prior plans and observed trends during the night||5:30 a.m.|
