Shrinkage Changes Approved for May 1st
Tuesday, April 19, 2011
PG&E has received approval of its shrinkage advice filing, Advice 3194-G, reported last month. Therefore, the proposed shrinkage rate changes will become effective May 1, 2011.
As footnoted in the previous article, the core distribution shrinkage allowance is expected to further change, to a seasonal rate, when the Gas Accord V Settlement goes into effect. The Gas Accord V Settlement was approved on April 14, 2011. PG&E is currently making a compliance filing as a result of the approval and is anticipating that the Gas Accord V rates and provisions will also be effective May 1st. We will be publishing the new rates in a Pipe Ranger article sometime in the afternoon of Wednesday, April 20th.
