Cold and Colder Weather is Here!
Friday, December 12, 2008
California Gas Transmission's current forecast for this weekend and early next week shows the mercury dropping substantially in Northern California. Local curtailments are not currently forecast.
CGT asks gas suppliers to be ready for winter conditions this weekend and early next week by taking the following precautions:
- Make sure your daily usage does not exceed supply.
- Keep an eye on Pipe Ranger and INSIDEtracc over the weekend. These are CGT's communication channels for news and information about cold weather events.
- Refresh your knowledge of winter readiness procedures by reviewing CGT's Getting Ready for Winter
document.
- Be prepared to communicate with your customers in the event of an OFO, EFO, diversion or local curtailment.
CGT representatives are on duty seven days a week should you require their assistance. On call numbers are posted on Pipe Ranger's home page.
If you have questions, please contact your CGT Account Services Representative for further assistance.
