July 14 SW-OFO
Friday, July 13, 2001
As announced this morning, Pacific Gas and Electric Company's California Gas Transmission called a System-Wide OFO for gas day July 14, 2001.
CGT issued the SW-OFO although the conditions for a Customer-Specific OFO were met. CGT made this decision based on the ineffectiveness of recent CS-OFOs and the current and forecast high inventory levels leading into the weekend. CGT believes this measure is necessary to avoid later, more disruptive measures to maintain safe operating pressure on its pipeline system.
This notice is provided pursuant to the OFO Settlement (section C.3.b (9), page 9). Please contact your CGT Account Service Representative if you have any questions.
