This week California Gas Transmission and several market participants made presentations at a California Public Utilities Commission workshop. The workshop discussed California's natural gas infrastructure and addressed several CPUC concerns, including:

• Forecast gas demand
• Future demand resulting from new power plants and the impact on California's existing infrastructure
• New infrastructure projects
• Backbone pipeline, receipt point, and local transmission constraints
