Expansion Question
Tuesday, Febuary 20, 2001
Many customers have inquired how Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Redwood path capacity will match PG&E Gas Transmission Northwest's (GTN's) proposed expansion.
Pacific Gas and Electric Company will review the results of GTN's open season prior to determining the need for a Redwood path expansion. Pacific Gas and Electric Company has identified an initial 200 MMcf/d Redwood path expansion that may cost as little as $30 million. A second expansion, adding another 200 MMcf/d, would require additional compression and likely cost $90 million.
