Energy Statement Update
Tuesday, June 6, 2000
On June 1, 2000, Pacific Gas and Electric Company changed the way Energy Statements for noncore end-use customers are distributed.
- The Energy Statement will be mailed directly to the end-use customer only. Suppliers will no longer receive copies of their customers' Energy Statements. Suppliers who wish to receive a copy of a customer's Energy Statement should request a copy directly from the customer.
- The Detail of Bill will be mailed separately from the Energy Statement. These two documents will no longer be packaged and mailed together. The Detail of Bill will be sent to parties listed on the end-use customer's Natural Gas Service Agreement, Exhibit D. Suppliers now receiving a customer's Detail of Bill will continue to receive it.
This change does not apply to Energy Statements for California Gas Transmission (CGT) customers at this time. CGT customers will continue to receive their Energy Statements and Detail of Bills together in a single mailing.
If you have any questions, please contact your CGT Account Services Representative.
