OFO Moved to Stage 2
Friday, May 26, 2000
In accordance with Rule 14, Pacific Gas and Electric Company increased the OFO for gas day 5/27/00 from Stage 1 to Stage 2, with the corresponding increase in noncompliance charges from $0.25/Dth to $1.00/Dth. The decision to move to Stage 2 is due to a combination of the recent volatility of commodity prices, frequently approaching or exceeding $0.25/Dth, and the inventories for gas day May 27th forecasted to begin at 4,727 MMcf and end at 5,029 MMcf.
