10. OFO Notices

Introduction to Operational Flow Orders (OFO)

Pacific Gas and Electric Company's California Gas Transmission will notify the market when an OFO is called. CGT makes every effort to call an OFO by 7:30 a.m., Pacific time, and indeed, if early data indicates a need, CGT will call the OFO as early as 5:30 a.m., Pacific time. The OFO notices appear on INSIDEtracc as well as other secondary communications channels, including this Web site, e-mail and Text Messaging. INSIDEtracc remains the primary source of OFO notification.

Unusual variations in weather, pipeline conditions or unexpected nominations may require CGT to call an OFO after 7:30 a.m. Pacific Gas and Electric Company's gas Rule 14 tariff allows the Company to call an OFO with noncompliance charges up until 6:00 p.m., PT, the day before the gas day of the OFO. Under most circumstances, CGT may be able to wait until the following day at 7:30 a.m. to call an OFO for the next gas day.
