What is RSS?
RSS is a really simple format for syndication and distribution of information, such as news releases and other timely content. You pick the content to be delivered to you automatically via RSS feeds, eliminating the need to individually visit sites.
How do I get started?
You’ll need an RSS reader, which you can purchase or download free from many sites. Yahoo and Google provide lists of free RSS readers. Some Web browsers, such as Mozilla's Firefox and Apple's Safari 2.0+ browsers, have built in RSS capabilities.
