Solar Water Heating

Important message regarding residential electric/propane solar water heating systems:

The CSI-Thermal (solar water heating) electric and propane incentive budget is funded from the CSI Photovoltaic (PV) program. PG&E is close to exhausting the residential incentive budget for the CSI PV program. When the budget for the residential CSI PV program is fully exhausted, so too is the incentive budget for the CSI-Thermal single-family residential electric and propane program. To monitor funding availability for the CSI PV and CSI-Thermal electric/propane program, please access Table 1 of the CSI General Market Budget Report on the California Solar Statistics website (look for the column titled "Remaining"). The CSI-Thermal Gas program has plenty of funding and is not impacted by this budget.

Today more and more Californians are making green part of their routine. From CFL bulbs and low-flow showerheads to energy-efficient appliances and hybrid cars, we are doing our part to conserve energy and reduce our carbon footprint.

At PG&E, we strive to meet California’s energy goals by partnering with you in your alternative energy choices, such as using renewable energy to power your home. That's why we are doing our part to ensure you receive financial incentives for installing solar water heating systems. It's just one of the ways we are helping you take a stand for the environment while lowering your energy costs over time.
