Attic and Wall Insulation
Get up to a $150 Rebate per 1000 Square Feet
You could be leaking money out of the ceiling and walls of your home. Insulate yourself from higher energy bills and make your home more comfortable by insulating your attic and walls. Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will pay you up to $150 per 1,000 square feet for doing it.
Keep your Home Insulated
Old insulation or no insulation translates to higher energy costs because:
- Heated or cooled air escapes through non-insulated areas, so you're paying to heat and cool the wrong side of the walls and ceiling in your home
- Hot or cold air from outside can get into your home when you don't need it
How to Get Your Rebate
- You must be a residential or multifamily PG&E customer
- Insulation must be installed at a PG&E service address.
- Make sure you or your contractor purchases and installs qualifying insulation products for this rebate. Review the PG&E Catalog and Rebate Application (PDF, 264 KB) for full details
- Sign and mail your completed application with proof of purchase to PG&E within 90 days of purchasing your product
