Energy Efficiency Rebates for Multifamily Properties
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) offers energy efficiency rebates to property owners and managers of multifamily dwellings that contain two or more units. The program encourages owners of existing properties to upgrade to qualifying energy-efficient products in individual tenant units and in the common areas of residential apartment buildings, mobile home parks and condominium complexes.
Effective January 1, 2011, ENERGY STAR® Interior and Exterior Hardwired Fixtures in tenant dwellings and outside common areas have a new rebate amount, please see our catalog for more information.

You must fill out a reservation form to qualify for rebate for most products installed on your multifamily property. Rebates for refrigerator, freezer and room air conditioner recycling through PG&E's appliance recycling program does not require a reservation form. For more information go to the appliance recycling page.
You may also call PG&E's Smarter Energy Line at 1-800-933-9555 to obtain the specifications for qualifying products and to receive an information packet, which includes the reservation form, application and catalog.
In order to receive a reservation number you must fax your completed forms to
1-415-973-4961 attention: Multifamily Rebates program. Reservations will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note: Some products may require installation by a qualified, licensed contractor.
Funding is limited. This offering shall at all times be subject to change or termination without prior notice. This offering is funded by California utility customers and administered by Pacific Gas and Electric Company under the auspices of the CPUC.
