An ENERGY STAR_® qualified room air conditioner uses at least 10% less energy than a conventional room air conditioner. Get a $50 rebate when you purchase a qualifying product for your home or business.

How to Apply

Chill Your Energy Bill

Purchasing a new ENERGY STAR room air conditioner can:

• Save you up to $197 over the product's estimated 11 year lifetime
• Save up to 109 kilowatt hours per year
• Help reduce greenhouse emissions

How to Get Your Rebate

• Customer must have electricity distributed by PG&E to the installation address.
• Must be ENERGY STAR_®–qualified.
  Go to their website for a list of qualifying residential products.

Purchase and install qualifying product(s) between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2012. These dates may change based on availability of program funds. For products purchased in 2009 with the same energy efficiency specification(s) at the same rebate level(s) continuing from 2009, applications with the required documentation are eligible for a rebate per program terms and conditions.
