Validated HAN Devices

Validated HAN Devices

PG&E has validated that the devices listed here can successfully connect with a PG&E SmartMeter™ in order to provide our customers with their near real-time energy use. However, PG&E does not guarantee that all device functionality performs as described by their manufacturers. If you experience trouble connecting a device to your SmartMeter™, please contact PG&E. If you experience trouble with device functionality, please contact the device manufacturer.

Please note the device's listed firmware version. Only this version of the firmware has been validated. Because of the evolving nature of the Smart Energy standards, changes by PG&E to the SmartMeter™ network, and changes by the device vendors themselves (including firmware changes), this list will necessarily change over time. Contact your device vendor for information regarding updates and compatibility with PG&E's Home and Business Area Network.

This list of validated devices is not comprehensive; other devices may be compatible on PG&E's network, and customers can attempt to register any ZigBee SEP1.0 or 1.1 device with their SmartMeter™. However, PG&E cannot provide any guarantee that devices not included on PG&E's list of validated devices are compatible. For more information, view our Frequently Asked Questions
