Residential PG&E customers have two rate options:
G1-NGV applies to the sale of uncompressed natural gas at an optional rate for fueling at home. Customers buy the gas at this rate and then compress it at their own location, using a home refueling appliance (HRA) such as Phill. The G1-NGV may offer a lower monthly gas bill depending on the miles you drive and your current home natural gas usage. G-NVG2 applies to the sale of compressed natural gas (CNG) at PG&E-owned stations. After opening an account to use PG&E's stations this is the rate which you would be charged each time you filled your tank. (To see the latest price per therm or Gasoline Gallon Equivalent (GGE) that PG&E is charging at its CNG fueling stations, see the NGV2-Rate Schedule (PDF, 87 KB). You can tell what month the price is good for by checking the "Effective" date in the footer of the document.)
