Daylight Models Exhibit
The daylight models exhibit is built into one of the exterior walls of the Center. Models fit into small bays in the wall and are exposed to exterior daylight. This exhibit is used to evaluate the effect that exterior shading devices, window treatments and ceiling height have on interior distribution of daylight. For additional PEC resources on daylighting, visit the Architecture Resources page.
The Department of Energy's EREC Reference Brief on Daylighting for Commercial and Industrial Buildings and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's "Tips for Daylighting with Windows" also provide additional information.
