- Green Pathways Pilot Program
PG&E's new Green Pathways program will create a virtual community for high school and college students interested in developing a career in a green profession. Students will work with teachers and career counselors to create a pathway to develop and enter existing and emerging green careers. They will exchange information with and receive advice from subject experts from environmental, energy and green industries, as well as federal, state and local governments, academic institutions and non-profit organizations.
This three-year pilot project will create Web-based education and network-based communication pathways to cultivate the next generation of green professional and vocational workers. Look for the full program to launch in 2012.
