Since 2005, PG&E employee associations have granted $705,334 in scholarships to 397 students who have demonstrated academic achievement and community service. - Student Internships
Students pursuing bachelor's, master's and MBA degrees can participate in PG&E internships that include a competitive salary and medical benefits.

- New Energy Academy
To help prepare the workforce of the future, the New Energy Academy will present a "green" energy curriculum for high schools beginning in the Fall of 2010. - Green Pathways Pilot Program
PG&E's new Green Pathways program will create a virtual community for high school and college students interested in developing a career in a green profession. Students will work with teachers and career counselors to create a pathway to develop and enter existing and emerging green careers. They will exchange information with and receive advice from subject experts from environmental, energy and green industries, as well as federal, state and local governments, academic institutions and non-profit organizations.
This three-year pilot project will create Web-based education and network-based communication pathways to cultivate the next generation of green professional and vocational workers. Look for the full program to launch in 2012. - Pacific Energy Center in San Francisco

Information & Activities for Kids
Check out our interactive site designed just for kids, where they can learn about energy efficiency, safety and conservation, play games and compete for prizes.
Curriculum for Teachers
PG&E offers various interactive and educational programs for K–12 educators. Teach about the science of energy, safety around electricity and gas, energy conservation and more.
The Green School
Go green at your school. Learn how to set up a "green team" (PDF, 250 KB) and get community support. Parents, teachers, students, and local businesses can help.
