Contributing to the fight against climate change is 100% tax-deductible.
Because the ClimateSmart program is a registered charity, your company’s contributions are fully tax-deductible. And 100% of your donations go to projects that are dedicated to reducing or absorbing greenhouse gas emissions by conserving and restoring native redwood forests or capturing methane gas from dairy farms and landfills or destroying refrigerants from old refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners. Your monthly energy statements will also show the ClimateSmart amount billed, and these statements are available to you online at any time in My Energy.

PG&E's Participation
