Energy Training Center—Stockton
PG&E's Energy Training Center provides energy efficiency training for all residential and small commercial building professionals, including HVAC, contractors, builders, architects, engineers and code officials.

Food Service Technology Center
PG&E’s Food Service Technology Center provides nationally-recognized energy efficiency consulting services to the commercial food service industry. Get all the information you need to design and operate your food service facility in a more energy-efficient manner.

Curriculum Resources for Schools

  • Energenius
    PG&E’s Energenius Educational Series teaches students to use energy wisely and safely with engaging programs for grades K-8.
  • Safe Kids
    Teachers can order free booklets on safety around electricity and natural gas. For grades K-8.
  • Solar Schools
    PG&E's Solar Schools Program teaches the value of alternative energy by turning school buildings into hands-on science experiments.
  • Bright Ideas Grants
    Qualifying schools may apply for grants of $2,500 to $5,000 to be used for local green or sustainable solar energy-related school projects, such as solar ovens and school gardens.
  • Solar Installations
    Up to 40 schools each year will receive donations of a new one kilowatt photovoltaic system that converts sunlight into electricity.
  • Training for Teachers
    PG&E offers a free, one-day solar energy training course to teachers throughout northern and central California.
