Demand Response Service Providers
Demand response service providers (or aggregators) are working with PG&E to reduce the state's energy requirements during peak demands, when the state experiences high wholesale-electrical prices, system constraints, or emergencies. Demand response service providers are companies authorized by PG&E to act as an intermediary between the customer and PG&E to provide demand capacity.
