Requirements


  • Each rental unit must have a standard central air conditioner or heat pump in suitable operating condition
  • You must obtain a signed authorization form from each tenant you wish to signup
  • Life support and medical baseline customers do not qualify to participate
  • SmartAC technology cannot be installed on evaporative coolers and window or wall units

Steps to Sign Up

  1. Download and print the SmartAC Brochure (PDF, 192 KB) and the Property Manager Registration and Tenant Authorization Forms (PDF, 348 KB)
  2. Ask your tenant to complete and sign the authorization form, and give them a copy of the brochure.
  3. Mail the signed authorization(s) to the address provided on the form
