How can you tell when a SmartAC event occurs and your device is being cycled?

  • Look at your SmartAC device. Instructions are outlined below for what to look for to confirm if an event is underway.
  • Visit SmartAC home, if an event is occurring a message will be displayed at the top of the page.
  • Call 1-866-908-4916.

How can you tell when a SmartAC event occurs and your device is being cycled?

On the SmartAC Thermostat, look for the word SAVINGS to appear on the display. This indicates that a SmartAC Event is in progress.
If the word 'SAVINGS' is not displayed on the face of the thermostat, a SmartAC Event has not been called to cycle your air conditioner.

For a SmartAC Switch (located on the outside of your air conditioner):

Look for one or more of the Red Lights to determine if a SmartAC event is occurring and your SmartAC Switch is being cycled.

What do the other lights mean?
The Green Light will always be illuminated or temporarily blinking, this means the device is properly receiving a signal. If the Green light is flashing and won't go solid or is off, you should call 1-866-908-4916 for technical assistance.

If you've confirmed that an event is in progress, and would like to opt-out of participating for the day, please log-on to your SmartAC device manager or call 1-866-908-4916.
