|Description||In this advanced class, the instructor will cover in detail all the issues pertaining to inspecting and permitting of solar water heating systems in all sectors, including commercial, industrial, small business, multifamily, and residential.|
This advanced workshop is designed for building inspectors, plan checkers, solar installers, designers, engineers, and architects who wish to stay current on the latest code compliance issues to help facilitate safe and long-lasting SWH systems.
Please note that we will not cover the basics of solar water heating systems in this class.

Martin Morehouse is the Solar Thermal Department Manager at Sun Light & Power in Berkeley, California. He has experience in every step of the solar process: designing, building, commissioning, monitoring and inspecting. During his tenure at SL&P the solar thermal department has tripled in revenue, specializing in commercial and multifamily systems.
Shon Fleming currently serves as the Technical Services Manager for Sun Light & Power, Inc., located in Berkeley, Ca. Shon has worked for over 11 years in the solar industry including 4 years as an installer, 2 years as a foreman and for the past 5 years has held his current position which primarily facilitates the quality control, permitting, inspections and code compliance aspects of both residential and large scale commercial PV and solar thermal projects.
